■kwaz（クウォズ）は、東京・高円寺にて2017年9月よりスタートしたレコードレーベルです。
シンガーソングライターで、グラフィックデザイナーのミムラス内藤彰子が主宰し、誕生しました。”kwaz”は、日本語の「川沿い/kawazoi」からリズムの良い４文字を取りました。（私のアパートメントが川沿いにあるからです） ある日「kwazって何か意味があるのかな？」とふとインターネットで調べてみると、南アフリカのズールー語という言語の辞書に行き当たり、「あなたができる」という日本語訳が出てきました。なんとも幸先良い感じではありませんか！こうしてkwaz labelという名前が付きました。

■kwaz labelはこのオンラインショップを運営しています。小さなお店です。しかし、だからこそ大きなマーケットにはないシャープなセレクトで、本当に心が動くものだけを自由に発信していける。それが私にとって何よりもワクワクすることです。レーベルの主催者であるミムラス内藤彰子の作品からスタートしましたが、私がセレクトした「泣ける」メロディーや歌詞、身体が自然に踊りだすカッコいいリズム、サウンドの音楽、更には、グッドデザインで日々の気分を持ち上げてくれる雑貨やファッション小物などの取り扱いも増やして参ります。楽しみにしていてください！

■"kwaz label" is a record label born in Koenji, Tokyo in September 2017.
It was established by a singer songwriter and a graphic designer, Mimlus Naito Akiko.
"kwaz" named after the area where I live "kawazoi" (this means along the river in Japanese). One day, I wondered what "kwaz" really meant and looked up this word on the internet. How amazing is this! The Japanese translation of it is "You can do it" according to the dictionary of the Zulu language which is a South African language. This sentence gives me positive energy. And that's exactly why I named my record label "kwaz".

■We run this online shop. It's a small shop unlike other shops on the big market. That's why we focus on selecting special items with a sharp eye/ear. This is a very exciting thing for us to do. Since we started this record label, we are providing more and more music with good melodies, moving lyrics and cool rhythms that makes us want to dance. Besides this, we will also provide selected goods and fashion accessories which are designed by Japanese artists. hope you'll be looking forward to it!
